Kim and Cheryl have a longstanding professional working relationship and have worked together for a number of years.  Having established a good working relationship a decision was made to come together and focus on Merton compliant age assessments as independent social workers, from there K&C Expert Assessments was formed . Combined, Kim and Cheryl have over 25 years of experience in front line children protection services and are child focused in the work they do. Their approach to carrying out age assessments is trauma based,  holistic, of high quality and balanced remaining inline with Merton compliant guidelines. 

K&C Expert Assessments was established in 2023 and since partnerships have been formed with a number of Local Authorities and Immigration solicitors across the UK  and this is something we hope to build on in the future , further collaborating with Local authorities and agencies who may require our assistance is welcomed. 

More recently opportunities have arisen to be part of a National Supported Accommodation event in Birmingham on the 7th November 2024, where Kim and Cheryl will be part of delivering workshops to attendees on the day. Kim and Cheryl feel it is a great honour to be ask, and indeed will be something that we hope to be part of again in the future-preparations are in force.........
